About The Event
Morning in Silence
Take the rare opportunity to spend the morning in silence doing only zazen (sitting meditation) and kinhin (walking meditation).
The silence is only interrupted with the sound of Keisu 磬子 (bowl gong) , Inkin 引鏧 (hand gong), 鈴 Rei (small bell) and Taku 柝 (wooden clappers) to mark meditation periods, kinhin, chanting and teaching.
Notes: Zen practice will be performed in silence; Mondo communication will be in German or English, as required; Sesshin will be led by Doka Sensei.
