Service Description

The seminar consists of Zen meditation and a lecture on a topic that focuses on the application of Zen practice in everyday life (Zen approach to food, cooking, work, interpersonal relationships, health, etc.). It aims to illuminate various life situations in a way that triggers introspection and contemplation. Each class ends with a questions-and-answers session. This training enables participants to identify habits that limit the realization of their innate potential, prevent them from achieving harmonious relationships and lead to health impairment. If after the seminar the participants get interested in deepening their practice, or if they feel the need for personal guidance in view of a specific life situation, they can schedule a "Practice Discussion". After consultation with a Sensei, they can enter a Zen Path or Urban Path practice or receive additional support through: - "Life Guidance" – support and guidance - "ZenQiYo@Individual" – a program designed to meet the needs of participant (including elements of qigong, pranayama, herbal classes, etc.) REQUIREMENTS: • Registration - no entry without prior registration • Punctuality - arrive 10 - 15' before the start of the practice to prepare in peace; the door is locked 5' before the start of the class and late practitioners cannot enter • Clean socks - prepare clean socks for the Zendo; it is forbidden to walk on the tatami with bare feet, in shoes or with dirty socks (unlike the usual Zendo where you practice barefoot, the Zendo in Hinotori An follows the rules of the Chado room to protect the tatami floor) • Attire - to ensure painless sitting and preserve the atmosphere of a temple, attire should be loose-fitting (no jeans, or leather pants), in calm colors (preferable dark); watches and jingling jewelry must be removed; strong smells must be avoided. • Mobile phones - need to be turned off completely or set on Airplane Mode (Silent Mode is not allowed) Schedule: Tue, Thu /17:45 – 18:45 Participants: 4 Duration: 60' Teaching tuition: 33 CHF / 310 CHF (10 classes subscription)
